Medieval antiphon by Hildegard von Bingen (1098 –1179). I just used my voice and singing bowl in this version. I found this spiritual instrument fits perfectly with this beautiful mystic melody, being both conceived separately as sacred tools. "The soul is 'symphonic' and the song that the human being sings with the soul is an echo of the celestial harmony" said Hildegard. She was a healer and a sciencist (among many other things), a true wise woman in her period.
In case you didn't know, the singing bowl (also known as Tibetan or Himalayan bowl) is used for soundtherapy in order to reduce stress, improving sleep, lowering blood pressure, reducing depression, stimulating the immune system, relieving pain or balancing and harmonizing the body.
This track is perfect for meditation, introspection, relaxing , sleeping, praying... or just enjoying some minutes of peace and calm.
lyrics
O virtus sapientiae,
quae circuiens circuisti
comprehendendo omnia in una via, quae habet vitam,
tres alas habens,
quarum una in altum volat,
et altera de terra su-dat,
et tertia undique volat.
Laus tibi sit, sicut te decet, o sapientia.
English:
O strength of Wisdom
who, circling, circled,
enclosing all
in one lifegiving path,
three wings you have:
one soars to the heights,
one distils its essence upon the earth,
and the third is everywhere.
Praise to you, as is fitting,
O Wisdom.

Whilst the majority of us will remember 2020 for its ordeals; I have stood upon Ex Libris for the first time and I cannot stop listening to this incredible band.
Chapter 2 is also my favorite of them all.
It gave me the vibes to research what happened 103 years ago in Russia.
And now, with knowledge of those dark times for the Romanov, each listen brings something that makes me want to learn even more about them.
Quite frankly, this is by far the best symphonic music I've heard this year. QuarkStorm
